Sometimes, I want the analysis that I do for fun out in the open. These thoughts led to this website.
Location
I am Toronto-based, born and raised. I love that Toronto is growing and becoming more diverse and globally-recognized. It's great that my city is amongst the leaders in Data Science and Deep Learning. I hope that it continues to thrive.
Education
My educational background is in computer engineering. I also have a Master of Science (Data Science) degree - both from Ryerson University. I was hoping to continue my education in the fall, but COVID... Ideally next year, with more of a focus on the mathematics behind algorithms.
Work
I work for the public sector, which is very eye-opening and fun! They've been very supportive of this.
Misc.
I am a firm believer in open-source software - especially the PyData stack. One of my goals for 2020 is to contribute to the Bokeh codebase.
In my spare time, I love summiting volcanoes, playing beach volleyball and learning.
What a wonderful thought it is that some of the best days of our lives haven't even happened yet.
